Iron Works and Off Season 2012

It is a very exciting time of year for the staff here at Washington and Lee as we creep ever closer to spring practice. As coaches we have begun the search for 2013 prospects who will propel our team to the next level, while our returning players continue to develop here in Lexington. For all those aspiring Generals we will be hosting a prospect camp here at Washington and Lee University on June 23, check our web page for details.

Our players, who are not abroad or playing another sport, have been working hard in the off season to prepare for the 2012 season trying to shake the disappointment of a missed playoff birth. Coming up just short however has been a motivation for the many members of our team who participate in the Iron Works club here on campus. We expect to see many of our players produce some of the best numbers we have ever had during our spring testing. Keep your eye out for results in April. The focus this off season has not only been to become stronger but also to develop our quickness and agility. The staff's emphasis come August will be to play fast and our athletes know that will be the number one prerequisite to get on the field.

Coming soon look for updates from our graduating seniors and players.
GO GENERALS!
